The edition of AZUMA KAGAMI inserted on JHTI is Kanei-ban from the Koten Senshu Honbun Database (Database of Selected Classical Literary Works), held by the National Institute of Japanese Literature in Tokyo, Japan. Each paragraph of the text, electronically reproduced in the database, is included in JHTI.

The English translation of the AZUMA KAGAMI inserted on JHTI is The Founding of the Kamakura Shogunate 1180-1185. With Selected Translations from the Azuma Kagami, by Minoru Shinoda (Columbia University Press, 1960).
