The edition of HITACHI FUDOKI inserted on JHTI is taken from the Nihon Koten Bungaku Taikei (Compendium of Japanese Classical Literary Works, vol. 2) published by Iwanami Publishing Company in 1958. An electronically reproduced edition of this text is included in the Nihon Koten Bungaku Sakuhin Database (Database of Japanese Classical Literary Works) held by the National Institute of Japanese Literature in Tokyo, Japan.

The English translation of the HITACHI FUDOKI inserted on JHTI is Records of Wind and Earth: A Translation of Fudoki with Introduction and Commentaries by Michiko Yamaguchi Aoki (Association for Asian Studies, 1997). Permission to publish this translation electronically was granted by the Association for Asian Studies in 2010. All rights are reserved by the Association for Asian Studies.
